Justin Nguyen – Primal Physiotherapist

Introducing Justin: Your Dedicated Primal Physio

Hi there, I’m Justin Nguyen, one of the Physiotherapists at Primal Physiotherapy. I completed my studies at La Trobe university, earning a double degree of a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy Practice, alongside obtaining a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance for Physiotherapy.

When I’m not at the clinic, you’ll often find me in the basketball or volleyball court, chasing the ball on the netball court, or enjoying a kick of the footy with friends. Outside of sports, I also enjoy eating sushi, exploring new cuisines, and spending quality time with family and friends, whether that’d be enjoying a nice dinner, or finding a new hiking spot or going for a refreshing run.

What drives me to do what I do? It’s the joy of seeing my patients improve and achieve their goals big or small. The opportunity to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives is what motivates me every single day. Whether it’s helping someone regain mobility and strength after an injury or supporting them in managing chronic pain, being a part of their journey to wellness is incredibly rewarding.

One of my proudest professional accomplishments is the privilege of helping a new resident with dementia settle in her new aged care. Witnessing their progress and knowing that I played a role in their rehabilitation journey on both a functional and ental level was truly rewarding.

At the core of everything I do are my values of compassion, empathy, and commitment to excellence. I believe in providing holistic care that addresses both the physical and emotional needs of my patients. Every individual deserves personalised attention and support on their path to recovery.

My professional journey has been marked by a commitment to lifelong learning and growth. From my early days as a student to gaining valuable experience in various clinical settings, every step has shaped me into the clinician I am today. Through my clinical placements, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse patient populations. This includes individuals post-musculoskeletal, post-neurological and post- cardiorespiratory surgery at Epworth hospital, to supporting those living with Dementia at murrenda Aged Care. This is accentuated by my previous role as an Allied Health Assistant at Home Physiotherapy, which involved participating in patient’s rehabilitation or exercise maintenance in the comfort of their home. Having experience from hospitals, clinics, aged cares all the way to home visits, I have equipped the tools and knowledge to help individuals with diverse backgrounds.

How can I help you? Whether you’re recovering from an injury or a surgery, managing chronic pain, or striving to enhance your overall function and well-being, I’m here to provide personalised solutions tailored to your unique needs. Whether that be exercise or manual therapy. Together, we’ll embark on a journey to restore function, alleviate pain, and achieve your health goals. Feel free to reach out, and let’s take the first step towards a healthier, happier you.”
