Arsany Youssef – Primal Physiotherapist
Introducing Arsany:
Hi, I’m Arsany, a Physiotherapist here at Primal. I hold a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the Australian Catholic University, where I developed a deep passion for helping people regain strength and confidence through movement.
Movement is more than just rehab—it’s a way to reclaim strength, confidence, and performance. As a physiotherapist at Primal, I help people do exactly that.
My passion for physiotherapy began with my own journey in sports and strength training. From a young age, I played soccer and rugby, but my real fascination with movement started when I stepped into the gym for the first time, simply wanting to lose weight. That experience quickly evolved into a deep appreciation for strength training. Over six years of training, I’ve felt the highs of progress and the lows of injury, giving me a firsthand understanding of the physical, mental, and emotional challenges that come with setbacks.
I’ve been fortunate to work with elite AFL and VFL athletes, as well as professional powerlifters, refining my skills in sports rehab, injury prevention, and performance enhancement. My experience has helped me develop a structured, evidence-based approach to physiotherapy—one that blends hands-on treatment with tailored exercise programs to ensure long-term results.
I believe physiotherapy is a collaborative process. That’s why I break down complex concepts into practical, actionable steps that fit into your daily life. My treatment approach focuses on education, empowerment, and personalised care, ensuring you stay engaged in your own recovery. After discussing your goals and expectations, I use hands-on techniques to relieve pain and improve mobility, combined with exercise-based therapy in our state-of-the-art gym space to rebuild strength and prevent future setbacks.
Beyond the clinic, I enjoy keeping up with soccer and AFL, challenging myself in new ways, and staying involved in volunteer projects to give back to the community. I also make it a priority to check in with my patients, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.
Recovery isn’t just about getting back to where you were—it’s about coming back stronger. I look forward to helping you move better, train smarter, and achieve your goals.
